How Do I Find the Drainage Hole In the Back Of My Haier Air Conditioner? My air conditioner was spitting and sputtering water into my room. I asked on this board and was advised to tilt it out, drain it, find the drainage hole and clean it out. When I tipped it out backwards, nothing happened. When I tipped it into the room, all the water spilled out and onto the floor. However, this seemed to solve the problem. I searched for the drainage hole, but could not find it. A few days later, the a/c unit was back to spitting cold water into my room. How do i resolve this? (I recently cleaned the filters) hadleydoris replied: "You can probably find a site for this brand of air conditioner and if it doesn't tell you the solution to your problem, there should be a contact number or email address."

Where can I find an extra window kit for a portable Haier air conditioner? I have a portable Haier room airconditioner. The window kit is too small for my window (there is a gap of about 6 inches). I have not been able to find an extra window kit anywhere. Does anyone know where I can get one, or have any other suggestions on what I can use? Michael K replied: "You might be able to make a window kit from wood paneling or plywood. Remember to measure twice before cutting the wood panels. i know i shouldnt have to know how but my remote keeps dying REALLY FAST and i cant afford batteries and really rather avoid sending it back if i can theres only one button on it i think idk im sad help me Scunt replied: "Usually they have an emergency run system, but it doesn't allow you to make temperature adjustments, they just run on a factory pre-set, if the batteries in the remote keep going flat really fast I would probably call the company and see if maybe you have a faulty unit, if its new it should still be under warranty and you should get a replacement." I have the silver/white 7000 btu model and was wondering if air is supposed to be coming out from every direction b/c it's only coming out from the middle and right side in the one I bought. (: tipstir replied: "Timer is for delay turn on not for staying on. If it's 10am and you want the unit to turn on at 10 hours from now. Then set it to 10. To use the timer the until has to be turned off. The press timer and then set the time using up and down arrows for it to turn on."
Annon Chicken replied: "If you read the manual you would find a paragraph telling you, when the A/C is on, if you set the timer on with the time you set say 2hrs, the unit will turn off in about 5 secs then it will turn on 2hrs later. If you set the timer off say 3hrs, then the unit will continue running and shut down 3 hrs later. It's in your manual." Also the fan speed cannot be varied by any other .
But some manufacturers provide on the AC PCB card (or near it) a "switch on /off "button (only) for emergencies .The temperature will still be what you set it to before.Try an online supplier of Haeir ac parts if you are sure the problem is with the Remote contoller." Does that mean average use?
